I think child molesters are cruel, sick people. There is no justice in the violation of children. There should be no option of a second chance for the people who committ these crimes. There is already enough hardship and violence without these gross acts against our children. What kind of future will they have knowing that the punishment may lead to another occurance? The death penalty should be used on the first offense and not with lethal injection. That is being too kind. Bring back ol' Sparky.

I say let them in the room alone with the Parents, no rules, even death. I have 3 Boys and my wife is pregnant with our 1st (last child, period) daughter. If someone even looked at them that way, I'd want to play Robert Deniro on them like he did in the Untouchables movie. If they laid a finger on them, I would not care what happened to me, they would suffer for the rest of their miserable days above ground. I would keep them alive and torcher him/her every day that my son/daughter seemed to suffer. After that I would end their life then turn myself in and confess my sins to an elder. I think that God put it into every animals hearts to protect their young, even killing man to do it, and he gave us our children to protect and raise to love him. Molesting ruins a child, they never think the same, act the same, and 80% of the time they turn out damaged, most of them even doing the same thing that was done to them. I have known quite a few people that were molested when they were older children, and it totally devested their lives, they could not cope with the 'gross' things that they were forced upon, and they turned to drugs and a kinkly lifestylye thinking that was all there were good for. If it were my child, I know I would do exactly what I said above, and I think you should either lock a person up, on first offence for life with no possiblity of parole, or turn the parents/family loose on them with no penalties for what they do.

I too am in favor of castration of some type, even if they can't be castrated, they should be sterilized. We have child molesters having relationships (with adults)that produce children that can not be raised by the offender, so they are on welfare, if they are not allowed to raise them they shouldn't be able to produce them.

I am not one to rush into killing people just to save taxpayer money so I will say life in prison for eternity is just fine with me. I do believe that chemical or physical castration is in order for repeat offenders. You shouldn't be able to keep the equipment if you don't use it properly.

"To the pure, all things are pure." (Titus). This is basically what is erased from a childhood when a child is molested. I believe the initial pushment needs to resemble more of a life sentence as they is what the victims are forced to live with. As far as repeat offenders, I say, "Get a rope!"

I definately think repeat sex offenders deserve the death penalty. We've loved many foster children in our home who suffered from these people and it's not even humane to think these precious children could be subjected to another "round" in the hands of offenders such as these; the children just don't deserve it.
