Five Oklahoma college students will win 10-week paid fellowships this summer with advanced technology startup companies when they are named participants in the second i2E Fellows program.

The program is open to participants in the 2009 or 2010 Donald W. Reynolds Governor’s Cup business plan competition.

A stipend of $6,000 will be paid for undergraduates and $8,000 will be paid for graduate students.

Students must apply by Feb. 5. Applications can be found at i2E.org by clicking on the i2E Fellows link.

Participating companies include:


• Emotion Media of Tulsa, which provides multimedia services to the professional photography market.


• ENB Science, which has developed a liquid dietary supplement for pets that is delivered with a dosing pump.


• MediaQuake, parent company of BuzzVoice, which converts news and blogs into audio files that can be delivered over computers, smart phones and MP3 players.


• Orthocare Innovations, a leading research organization in the field of orthotics and prosthetics.


• Otologic Pharmaceutics, which was launched to commercialize technologies that address solutions for hearing and balance health.
