Festival activities to begin

HOLLIS -- The Black-Eyed Pea Festival starts Saturday in Hollis.

Activities include a parade, the Jack Rabbit Junction Western Show, the old iron tractor pull, Harmon County Opry, ranch rodeo and the annual black-eyed pea meal at noon.

The festival is held along the streets of downtown Hollis.

The day begins with the Black-Eyed Pea Parade sponsored by the Harmon County Chamber of Commerce.

Concessions and craft booths will be on the grounds.
