Services for Jarrod Hunter Buck, 17, were held at Choctaw Road Baptist Church.

Buck was found about 11:30 a.m. Sunday at 712 Sandy Lane, Choctaw Police Chief Billy Carter said.

Carter said the cause and manner of Buck’s death have not been determined.

He said Buck’s body didn’t appear to have any signs of trauma. It will likely be six to eight weeks before the results of a toxicology test are available.

“Right now everything is inconclusive,” Carter said.

Carter said Buck was last seen around midnight. He declined to say how many teenagers were at the home or if there was evidence of alcohol use.

Carter said Buck’s truck was discovered Wednesday morning, stripped and torched at Lake Stanley Draper.

The chief said investigators have not determined if there is a connection between the stolen truck and Buck’s death.
