AMSTERDAM (AP) — Goals from Lex Immers and Mitchell te Vrede led Feyenoord to 2-0 victory over SC Cambuur in the Dutch league Sunday.

With the victory, Feyenoord rose to fourth in the standings, two points behind leader AZ Alkmaar, which beat ADO Den Haag 2-0 on Saturday.

Alkmaar won on goals from Nemanja Gudelj and Johann Berg Gudmundsson, and has now won three straight under new coach Dick Advocaat.

Ajax squandered an opportunity to move up the table when it was beaten 1-0 in Amsterdam by Vitesse Arnhem, on a last-minute goal by Valeri Kazaishvili. The victory leaves Vitesse second, one point behind Alkmaar, while Ajax drops to sixth.

Elsewhere, FC Twente, third in the table with 20 points, drew 2-2 with NEC Nijmegen.
