“Our kids play hard. They just didn't finish the game. We didn't finish, and that's not just the kick at the end. We didn't finish the game, the game that we're capable of.”

“I want to dedicate this win to the four victims of the plane crash. It meant so much to the Oklahoma State people and to our team and for their families. The players wanted to do it.”

“Our challenge to the young men that are coming back on our team is to continue to play with great effort, play for each other, all the things we talked about for what would be five, six, seven years now—discipline, structure and accountability.”

“Yeah, it was worth it. Not to say I enjoyed every moment, because I didn't. But I would never regret it. I felt I grew a lot as a person, as a player.”
