BancFirst plans new building
EDMOND — BancFirst Edmond will move its current location at 3200 E Memorial to a new building adjacent to Hafer Park. The bank and the Edmond Area Chamber of Commerce will hold a groundbreaking ceremony Thursday at the bank, at 1264 S Bryant, at 3 p.m. Thursday. The bank is expected to open in August. BancFirst says the move is part of a plan to expand its presence in Edmond; the new location will serve as the main Edmond location and the first of three new branches planned in the next three to four years.
Team to handle business clients
Kirkpatrick Bank has created a team dedicated to serving business customers, led by Christy Sanford, who has been named head of business banking. Kirkpatrick Bank has expanded the scope of its cash management team to include business banking services in general, with the objective of providing enhanced services and expertise to commercial customers. This included establishing a core staff specializing in business banking, cash management and other products for business customers. Kirkpatrick Bank CEO George Drew said the plan focus on the bank's strength and potential for growth. “By bringing our top talent together on the account services side to focus specifically on our business customers, we believe we can make a good thing even better,” Drew said in a statement issued by the company.
