BancFirst plans new building

— BancFirst Edmond will move its current location at 3200 E Memorial to a new building adjacent to Hafer Park. The bank and the Edmond Area Chamber of Commerce will hold a groundbreaking ceremony Thursday at the bank, at 1264 S Bryant, at 3 p.m. Thursday. The bank is expected to open in August. BancFirst says the move is part of a plan to expand its presence in Edmond; the new location will serve as the main Edmond location and the first of three new branches planned in the next three to four years.
