Frontier City is the lone standing traditional amusement park left in Oklahoma.

Located in Oklahoma City, the 50-year-old Western theme amusement park features 75 rides and shows. Rides range from children's rides to thrilling roller coaster rides, including the Wildcat, a classic wooden ride.

Just less than a half-hour's drive from Frontier City is White Water Bay. The 25-acre water park features 30 slippery slides, pools and waves, including the Mega-Wedgie speed slide and the Big Kahuna family tube ride.

Bell's Amusement Park in Tulsa closed after the 2006 season after the county did not renew its lease citing the park's nonviable business plan. Currently the rides are being housed in a Tulsa warehouse.

Since its conception in 1951, the park has been part of the Tulsa State Fair.

Many northeast Oklahoma communities have vied for the opportunity to move the park to their cities, but, no plans have materialized.

Also in Tulsa is Big Splash, a smaller water park with a pool, speed slide, water coaster and a children's play area.

Comanche Nation water park in Lawton features four water rides and a food court.

Other smaller water parks are River Country in Muskogee, a municipal park with slides and a children's interactive play area and Splash Zone in Enid, which features tube slides and a Kiddie Cove children's play area.
