MUSTANG — The cause of a fire in a recreational camping trailer parked in the driveway of a home is under investigation by state agents Wednesday, authorities said.

The state fire marshal’s office is investigating a 3:05 a.m. Wednesday fire reported at 511 S Brookview, said operations chief Sam Schafnitt.

Mustang Fire Chief Carl Hickman said the fire caused about $1,000 damage to the camping trailer.

Schafnitt said the state fire marshal was requested by Mustang police to investigate the blaze. The fire did not cause any structural damage to the house, and it was quickly extinguished by firefighters at the scene. No one was injured.

Police have not reported any arrests, said Mustang detective Camie McNeil.
