Firefighters extinguish apartment blaze in northwest Oklahoma City

No injuries or deaths were reported following an apartment fire on Tuesday, fire Maj. Tammy McKinney said.

Firefighters extinguished an apartment complex fire Tuesday in Oklahoma City that involved multiple rooms.

About 11 a.m., firefighters responded to the 2400 block of NW 39 Terrace after dispatch received a call that roofers working atop the complex reported flames, fire Maj. Tammy McKinney said. There were reportedly two rooms affected by the fire.

Crews extinguished the flames shortly after, no people or pets were injured, McKinney said.

Investigators are working to determine the cause and origin of the fire, as well as the damage estimate.
