Firefighters extinguish house fire in southwest Oklahoma City

A Thursday morning house fire is believed to have started in the garage, fire Maj. Tammy McKinney said.

Oklahoma City firefighters extinguished a house fire Thursday morning.

About 9 a.m., firefighters arrived at the home, 3517 S. Goff Ave., fully charged with smoke, fire Maj. Tammy McKinney said. The fire was believed to have started in the garage area and spread to the rest of the home. Crews had the fire contained in about 30 minutes, McKinney said.

McKinney received reports that all occupants escaped the home without injury.
