First-Ever 'Wheel Of Fortune' Special Needs Contestant Is 'A Smashing Success' Published: May 1, 2014

After more than 6,000 episodes on air, "Wheel Of Fortune" has welcomed its first-ever special needs contestant. On Wednesday, April 30, Arizona man Trenton "Trent" Girone, made history, solving the puzzle for "A Smashing Success" -- a "a fitting answer for the reaction he'd receive from viewers," as WHTR Channel 13 put it.
