FIT FOR YOU
Summertime is just about over, meaning your children will no longer be hanging out in the comfort of their own homes. Dealing with first day jitters is only natural for kids of all ages, but it may be a very scary experience to preschoolers and elementary school students.
There are things you can do to help kiddos overcome those rattled nerves: Go to meet the teacher on back-to-school nights, drive by the school and show the children where they will be attending class, be excited when discussing the different things they will learn and do in school, remind them where and when they will be dropped off and picked up each day, and ask them what makes them most excited about starting school.
The more comfortable your children feel talking about school the more relaxed they may become as the first day approaches.
