Appreciation makes a difference
Do you sometimes feel underappreciated? Maybe just a little taken for granted?
Sometimes a simple “thank you” or “I really appreciate all you do” can make a difference in how someone is feeling. If you are never told that what you do makes a difference, frustration, sadness and even depression can set in.
Have you told the people in your life how much you appreciate them? Maybe a kind word, a card, a hug, or just a reminder of what a friend, loved one or co-worker means to you.
Sharing your appreciation for a job well done works both ways — giving and receiving appreciation does wonders for your health. Try it, and pass it on.
