Five die after separate accidents on Oklahoma roadways

A motorcyclist and a motorist died Monday after suffering injuries in separate Oklahoma accidents, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported. Three other people died after an accident in McCurtain County.

A motorcyclist and a motorist died Monday after suffering injuries in separate Oklahoma accidents, and three others died after an accident in McCurtain County, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

Leslie F. Bryant, 22, Yale

About 1:20 p.m., Bryant was driving westbound on State Highway 51 near Stillwater when his vehicle went left of center and hit an eastbound vehicle, troopers said.

Bryant died at the scene, and the second driver was not injured. It is unknown if Bryant wore a seat belt, troopers said.

Treveious Robinson,16, of Clinton

Shortly before 3 p.m., 16-year-old Treveious Robinson was riding a motorcycle westbound on Interstate 40 in Custer County. The motorcycle went out of control and rolled and Robinson, who was wearing a helmet, hit a cable barrier, troopers said.

Robinson died at the scene, troopers said.

Jonny Ray Collum, 24, Broken Bow

Devin Chesney, 12, Idabel

Kenneth Odell Gann, 24, Heavener

About 11:30 a.m., Collum was driving westbound on State Highway 3 with Chesney, Gann, Natasha Dawn Gamble, 30, of Idabel, and Sarah Lester, 10, of Idabel, as passengers. The vehicle went left of center and struck a culvert, troopers said.

Collum, Chesney and Gann died at the scene. Gamble was taken by helicopter to a hospital in Texas, and Lester was taken by helicopter to an Arkansas hospital, troopers said.

No one was wearing a seat belt, troopers said.
