It’s Oklahoma City Energy FC vs. Orange County Blues Soccer Club, kicking off at 7 p.m. at Pribil Stadium. The game is live on YouTube in both English and Spanish broadcasts and can also be heard on KXXY 96.1 FM. Here are my Five Joules of Energy for the match.

*This is the third meeting between the two clubs, with Energy FC winning 2-0 in Orange County (Calif.) and OC winning 1-0 here in Oklahoma City in May. Energy FC’s win in Orange County was the first ever win in franchise history.

*Kyle Greig, who scored the first goal in franchise history that night, scored three goals last week as well as getting an assist. His efforts earned him United Soccer League Pro division Player of the Week. Greig’s seven goals this season lead the team.

*Orange County has used more than 30 players this season including four goalkeepers. Patrick McLain has spent the most time in net for OC but it was Josh Ford who earned the clean sheet against Energy FC in Orange County’s win. Ford, however, is not listed on the Orange County’s gameday roster.

*Samir Badr has taken every bit of his opportunity in goal since Jon Kempin was recalled on his loan from Sporting Kansas City. Badr has started each of Energy FC’s last five games and played the full 90 minutes each outing. Badr has allowed five goals in those games, two of which he earned a clean sheet, blanking Pittsburgh at home and Dayton on the road in Energy FC’s last match played, a 3-0 win.

*Lastly, it’s all about the playoffs. Energy FC is tied with Wilmington for sixth place in the latest USLPRO table. Wilmington dropped a 3-0 decision with Richmond last night leaving them with 26 points. Energy FC can take over sole possession of sixth place with a win or a draw tonight. Orange County is in a three-way tie for 9th place after Charleston tied Rochester 0-0 on Friday. OC, Charlotte and Harrisburg each have 24 points. An Orange County win would catapult them to sixth place over both Wilmington and Energy FC.
