Happy 22nd birthday. Feeling old yet?

"No, man. Twenty two? God has led me for 22 years, so I'm very thankful. To celebrate with my teammates, and during practice, is even better."

After practice, the rookies lined up and sang "Happy Birthday" to you. They didn't seem to sing very well.

"It's all good. It's the thought that counts. I appreciate the guys a lot for that."

What type of birthday present do you get a guy like you?

"Just a lot of 'Happy Birthday's, I guess. I'm not a hard guy to please. I just want people to think about me a little bit on my birthday. That's good enough for me ... Just to be around my teammates is a great feeling, so I'm a lucky guy."

Have to ask you about this weekend's OU-Texas football game, especially after your alma mater's 34-12 loss to UCLA. What do you think?

"I talked a little trash before that game and we lost, so I'm going to keep it humble today."

How has (UCLA product) Russell Westbrook been treating you?

"Man, he said we're the worst team in college football. He said we're going to make it to the McDonald's Bowl, all that type stuff. They beat us, and I think we'll bounce back. I hope so."
