10:20 a.m. Wednesday around 10:15 p.m., as a severe storm was moving through Love County, it produced a wind gust of 106 mph at the Oklahoma Mesonet weather network’s station at Burneyville in southern Oklahoma.

7:20 a.m. A flash flood warning is in effect until 9:30 a.m. for northeastern Pushmataha and southwestern Latimer counties, the National Weather Service reports. Heavy rain is falling in areas where 3 to 5 inches have already fallen. An additional 1 to 2 inches is possible. 4:45 a.m. A flash flood warning has been issued for the Pittsburg County area in eastern Oklahoma early Thursday, the National Weather Service reports.
The warning expires at 5:30 a.m. and then a flash flood watch remains in effect until 1 p.m. Haskell, Latimer and Le Flore counties are included in the watch.
The Lake Eufaula and McAlester areas are included in the flood warning.
