Several non-commercial flights have already arrived, said Karen Carney, an airport spokeswoman. The first commercial flight arrived at 9:15 a.m. and each carrier has a flight scheduled before 11 a.m.

Overall, about 50 flights were cancelled due to the winter weather but the airport didn't close, Carney said. Crews worked to keep the runway and key taxiways clear of snow.

Commercial flight schedules are expected to return to normal by early afternoon, she said.
