TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) — Defending national football champion Florida State will have marquee matchups against Oklahoma State, Clemson, Notre Dame and Louisville before rivalry games against Florida and Miami in 2014.
The Seminoles released the schedule for their title defense Wednesday and it isn't a cakewalk. Four opponents finished 2013 ranked in the Top 25 and that doesn't include the Hurricanes or Gators.
Florida State opens the season against Oklahoma State at AT&T Stadium in Arlington — home of the Dallas Cowboys. Clemson travels to Tallahassee, Fla. for the third game in a showdown of Atlantic Division favorites. The Fighting Irish join the ACC schedule in 2014 and will face the Seminoles on the road for the first time since 2002.
Florida State will host Louisville in the highlighted Thursday slot Oct. 30.
