GAINESVILLE, Fla. (AP) — No. 5 Florida probably will be without linebacker Jelani Jenkins for the team's bowl game.

Jenkins broke a bone in his right foot during Saturday's 37-26 win at Florida State and had surgery Monday.

Coach Will Muschamp says Jenkins "probably will miss the bowl game. Not totally certain." Muschamp adds that Jenkins will need four to six weeks of recovery time.

Jenkins, a fourth-year junior from Olney, Md., has 29 tackles, two sacks and an interception this season. He missed three games earlier in the year, two because of a broken bone on his right thumb and another because of a hamstring injury.

Freshman Antonio Morrison would start in Jenkins' place for Florida's next game, which is expected to be the Sugar Bowl on Jan. 2.
