Flu kills two in Oklahoma; H1N1 certain in 1 case

After being out of the news for several weeks, the flu was reported Thursday to have caused two more Oklahoma deaths.

They are the first such fatalities reported in the state since early January, bringing the total in Oklahoma to 43 since the virus emerged in April, according to the Oklahoma Health Department.

Reports of H1N1 in Oklahoma have slowed so far this year, but officials have continued to warn that another outbreak could occur.
