The 2014 edition of the Fly Fishing Film Tour (F3T) gets underway this month, and again this year Oklahoma anglers will have a front-row seat on the popular program that features the newest works of the sport’s best, cutting-edge filmmakers.
The F3T officially kicks off Jan. 25th with shows in Denver and will make stops in more than 100 cities across the U.S., including Oklahoma City, and in Canada. The Oklahoma City engagement is set for 7 p.m., March 12 at the Will Rogers Theatre, 4322 N. Western Ave. Tickets are $15, available in advance at Backwoods, 12325 N. May Ave. Organizers say shows very often sell out, so early ticket purchases are advised.
Sooner fly fishers itching for an early spring road trip can catch the tour on March 3rd or 4th at the Razorback Cinema, Malco Theaters in Fayetteville, Ark.
The traveling show features two hours of short films from some of the best outdoors moviemakers working today, and it also benefits local conservation groups and serves as a valuable expo for area outfitters and fishing guides.
Additional information on ticket purchases, show locations, films on the program or sponsor links is available on the F3T website at www.flyfishingfilmtour.com.
