6:20 a.m. Visibility in northwest Oklahoma City is reduced to a quarter of a mile Wednesday morning, the National Weather Service reports. Fog is reported to be heaviest on the north and northwest side of the city. Check NewsOK.com for updates.

5:30 a.m. Central Oklahoma will have widespread fog before 7 a.m. Wednesday, the National Weather Service reports.

Skies will be partly cloudy with temperatues near 84 degrees Wednesday afternoon.

The Oklahoma City forecast is as follows:

Wednesday: Widespread fog mainly before 7 a.m. Otherwise, partly sunny with a high near 84. North, northeast wind 5 to 11 mph.

Wednesday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 64. Northeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light and variable in the evening.

Thursday: Mostly sunny with a high near 87. East, northeast wind 5 to 10 mph.

Thursday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 65. East, southeast wind 5 to 10 mph.

Friday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny with a high near 83. Light east wind increasing to 5 to 10 mph in the morning.

Friday night: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 66.

Saturday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny with a high near 85.

Saturday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 70.

Sunday: Mostly sunny with a high near 89.

Sunday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 71.
