Open Flame returns Thursday

The first Open Flame of 2014 will be at 6 p.m. Thursday at American Propane, 7401 Broadway Ext.

Join host Dave Cathey, The Food Dude, and guest chefs Kathryn Mathis, Jeffrey Holloway and Jonas Favela for an evening of food and fun.

The Food Dude will start the evening off with Curried Chicken Wings before the chefs share tips and recipes for their favorite grilling recipes featuring pork, beef and mahi-mahi.

Cost is $50. Call 843-6868 for reservations.

coming to The Metro

The Metro Wine Bar and Bistro, 6418 N Western Ave., will host Oklahoma’s winemaker Adam Webb for an evening of food and wine at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. A special four-course dinner will be prepared and paired with five of Adam's current releases of Odisea and Cochon wines, including his new Verdejo and Guardian Zinfandel.
