Chef Dustin Dunaway, of The Catering Connection, will be guest chef at the Myriad Botanical Gardens restaurant space for Father's Day. Guests also receive free admission to the Crystal Bridge. Melting Pot offers special all-you-can-eat menu
The Melting Pot, 4 E Sheridan Ave. in Bricktown, is offering an all-you-can-eat Father's Day dining experience this week, leading up to Father's Day. The Melting Pot is offering The Father's Day Endless Fondue special menu. Cost is $45 per adult and $25 for ages 7 to 12, plus tax and gratuity. Children under 6 eat free. The regular menu will still be available.
Okemah sets annual barbecue contest
The Okfuskee County Wildfire Cook-Off is noon to 11 p.m. Saturday in Okemah. This barbecue cook-off attracts fire departments from across the state to compete for bragging rights in the categories of chicken, beef and pork. Tasting kits will be available for purchase and will include barbecue pork, baked beans, potato salad and coleslaw. Participants must be 18 years or older to win. No alcohol or coolers will be allowed.

Blues, BBQ festival set for Bricktown
Mouthwatering food and soul-scorching blues music will permeate Oklahoma City this weekend at the 17th annual Bricktown Blues & BBQ Festival. The two-day event is outdoors at Oklahoma and Sheridan avenues. Gates open at 5 p.m. Friday and 1 p.m. Saturday, each night closing at midnight. In addition to championship barbecue, both nights will be filled with back-to-back musical performances.
