Wine Dinner planned at Opus Prime on Thursday

Opus Prime Steahhouse, 800 W Memorial Road, will host a special wine dinner, spotlighting Echelon Vineyards, at 7 p.m. Thursday.

The four-course meal begins with Scallop with Candied Bacon paired with Echelon's Napa Chardonnay. Next up is a salad of mixed greens with pecans with roasted fig and goat cheese and pomegranate vinaigrette served with California Pinot Grigio. The main course is Filet Mignon with Crab Alouette with Potato Gillette paired with Russian River Pinot Noir. For dessert, Lava Cake with Raspberry and Hazelnut Cream is paired with Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon.

Chocolate Festival tickets available

NORMAN — Tickets are on sale for the 31st anniversary annual Chocolate Festival from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the National Center for Employee Development Conference Center, 2801 State Highway 9 E.

Vendors will offer thousands of samples of chocolate-inspired delights with proceeds supporting Firehouse Art Center art education programs. Premiere tickets include 15 samples for $40; standard tickets include 10 samples for $25. Tickets are available in person, by phone at the Firehouse Art Center or at the door the day of the event. Chocolate Decadence returns to OKC

Historic Automobile Alley will host the 16th annual Chocolate Decadence from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Feb. 7 at the Hudson-Essex Loft Offices, 825 N Broadway Ave.

The party showcases decadent chocolate treats from premier local restaurants and caterers while featuring smooth jazz, wine and Champagne, gourmet coffees and a Valentine auction.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oklahoma will host its annual fundraiser, THE Taste of Oklahoma City, at 7 p.m. Feb. 9 in the Renaissance Ballroom of the Cox Convention Center.

The event will feature samplings from 30 of Oklahoma City's finest restaurants, including 10 North Grille, Goporam Taste of India, Mickey Mantle's Steakhouse, Nonna's, Old Germany, Pearl's/Crabtown, The Melting Pot, Johnny Carino's, Custino's, Jazmoz Bourbon Street Cafe, Urban Roots, and Picasso Cafe.
