Thunder roll into playoffs with new menu at arena
Levy Restaurants will roll out a special lineup of foods in the Cox Club level at Chesapeake Energy Arena for the Thunder’s playoff run this season.
The Tristate Grill, near Section 208, will feature chips and queso for $7.50, a Tempura Salmon Roll for $14 and spinach dip in a bread bowl for $12. At Taste of the Game, near Section 224, look for the tuna sandwich bowl for $12, and a turkey-provolone panini for $10.50. At Thundertrail, near Section 216, you’ll find the Thunderstorm Dog, which is a Jalapeno Thunder Dog wrapped in bacon and deep-fried, served on a pull-apart bun topped with coleslaw, barbecue aioli and pickled okra for $11.50. The Blue Pit BBQ, near Section 223, will add dessert with strawberry and blueberry parfait for $8.
The Uptown 23rd District’s first fundraising event, Uptown Uncorked, will be from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the TEEMCO Gold Dome at NW 23 and Classen.
The food- and beverage-tasting event will feature restaurants and merchants promoting the continued renaissance of the Uptown 23rd District. Money raised from Uptown Uncorked will support beautification of medians and public spaces along NW 23 between Pennsylvania Avenue and Broadway Avenue.
The event will include live music and an opportunity to mix and mingle. Tickets are $50 for VIP and $35 for general admission and can be purchased online at uptown23rd.com/uptown-uncorked.
Hensley’s hosts Pork Council Swine and Wine Dinner
YUKON — Hensley’s Top Shelf Grill, 1551 Garth Brooks Blvd., will host a Swine and Wine dinner sponsored by the Oklahoma Pork Council at 5 p.m. April 27.
