The George Prime Steakhouse Opens
The long-awaited opening of The George Prime Steakhouse, 5900 Mosteller Drive, was Monday. Occupying the restaurant space atop Founders Tower, The George is owned by Kevin George, a partner in the Interurban restaurant group. George hired Josh Valentine as his executive chef and Vivian Wood as general manager.
With more than 150 seats, The George currently is open for dinner, with lunch service planned to begin later this summer. The bar opens at 5 p.m. and the dining room at 5:30 p.m. For reservations, call 242-4761.

Hensley’s Hosts wine dinner
YUKON — Hensley’s Top Shelf Grill, 1551 Garth Brooks Blvd., will host a special dinner featuring Clos Du Val wines at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
Chef David Sullivan has written a special menu for the event, which starts with a reception featuring Roasted Gold Bell Pepper Tabouli with Chilled Crab with Crispy Chiffonade of Spinach paired with Clos du Val Sauvignon Blanc.
First course includes Pan Seared Sea Bass with Caramelized Peaches, Micro Water Crest and Saffron Butter paired with Clos du Val Chardonnay. Next is Pepper Seared Pork Tenderloin with Beet-Sweet Onion-Gorgonzola Salad, Black Currant-Red Wine Syrup and a glass of Clos du Val Cabernet Sauvignon. Main course is Pecan Grilled Lamb Chop with Braised Kale, Shoestring Leeks, Roasted Shallot-Veal Stock Jus paired with Clos du Val “Stags Leap District” Cabernet Sauvignon. For dessert is Black Forest Roulade with Chai-Spiced Mascarpone, Sweet Black Cherries, Sugar Dusted Hazelnuts, Cinnamon-Butter Cookie and a glass of Clos du Val Merlot.
