The theme for this year's Big Taste is “A Night of British Royalty and Rock,” which begins at 7 p.m. and includes Brit-inspired samplings from local restaurants, including bread pudding from McNellie's, Scotch eggs and puddings from Local, savory Gorgonzola and bacon bread pudding and porter-braised lamb meatballs with whiskey pepper sauce from Blackbird, rosemary and honey marinated pork tenderloin with cream Dijon sauce from Blu, and Union Jack cupcakes from Sweets & Spurs, plus snacks from O Asian Fusion, Belmar Golf Club, Chuy's, Cafe Plaid, Legend's, Ray's BBQ and the Embassy Suites.

Shandies and “Pimm's Royal Cups” will be served and Teaoli will feature a proper English tea bar. Silent and live auctions will include autographed items from the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Sir Elton John, Led Zeppelin, Adele, and actors from the James Bond and Harry Potter series.
