Food for Kids is a hand up for responsible teens

I agree with Rodney W. Bivens (Your Views, Sept. 4) that the Food for Kids program is good for responsible teens. It allows them to stay in school and, later, be better prepared adults. On the other hand, it allows irresponsible adults to have children they know they can't afford and count on society to provide for them.
