For zoo's new executive director, job in city is 'like coming home'

The assistant director of the Tulsa Zoo will be the new executive director of the Oklahoma City Zoo , starting July 1.

The Oklahoma City Zoo Trust hired Dwight Scott , 37, during a trust meeting Wednesday. He will earn $110,000 a year plus benefits, including a car. Scott worked at the Oklahoma City Zoo for six years before going to Tulsa .
