Forecast for today and looking ahead to next week, from the National Weather Service, Norman

The National Weather Service, Norman Forecast Office forecast shows:

“Breezy to windy conditions will lead to elevated wildfire potential this afternoon.

” The strongest winds will be confined to western Oklahoma where gusts

may approach 45 mph. Winds will be strongest between noon and 6 pm today.

“Under mostly sunny skies, highs will reach the mid 60s to lower 70s this afternoon.”

And a look ahead at the possibility of colder weather next week in the
