Forecast with chances of rain later in the week from the National Weather Service, Norman

The National Weather Service, Norman Forecast Office “Thunderstorm Outlook,” shows, “There is a chance of thunderstorms across mainly western Oklahoma Thursday night into early Friday when a strong storm system moves across the Southern Rockies and Central Plains. Severe storms are unlikely Thursday night into early Friday.

“Another system will bring a chance of showers and storms Friday night through Sunday as well as Monday.”

The “Other Hazardous Weather” states, “The combination of breezy south winds and low humidity will elevate fire danger across parts of western Oklahoma and western, north Texas on Wednesday.”
