Keep calling it a spring “finale,” Oklahoma State fans.
Much like last year, the format for the Cowboys’ last day of spring practice on April 20 has not yet been determined. The event is open to the public and starts at 1:30 p.m. at Boone Pickens Stadium.
OSU used the same term to describe last year’s event, with the main question being if it would be a full-fledged scrimmage or a “thud” scrimmage without tackling all the way to the ground. But it ended up looking like a typical spring game, complete with a wacky points system that flipped the score at halftime and quarterbacks Clint Chelf, Wes Lunt and J.W. Walsh playing for both teams.
As usual, the spring finale is part of a big day of athletic activities at OSU. The Remember the 10 run begins at 9 a.m., while the baseball, softball and women’s tennis teams all have home events.
The Cowboy Radio Network will broadcast the spring finale.
