There is something direct, naively appealing and deeply touching about a show of "Recent Work” by Jennifer Cocoma Hustis in Oklahoma City University ’s Norick Art Center .

A former Oklahoma City area artist living in Bellevue, Neb. , Hustis said the meanings of her paintings are often based on what people can learn from the behavior of animals in the wild.
