Former big league pitcher Cal McLish dies at age 84

Anadarko native inducted into Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame in 2009

Before Cal McLish was 20 years old, he'd spent a full season with the Brooklyn Dodgers and served in the U.S. Army near the end of World War II.

McLish, an Anadarko native who played 15 seasons in the majors, died Thursday morning. He was 84.
