Former Blanchard officials indicted on bribery charges
PURCELL — A fired Blanchard city manager and former Blanchard police chief have been accused of trying to bribe an incoming city councilman last year in a failed effort to hold on to their jobs.
The fired city manager, Bill D. Edwards , 76, and former police chief, Tom M. Linn , 66, are charged with conspiracy to defraud the state and offering a bribe to a public official.
