Former Boynton firefighter pleads guilty to setting fires
A former Boynton volunteer firefighter accused of setting fires last summer pleaded guilty Thursday to a third-degree arson charge.
Dustin Michael Davis, 25, received a five-year deferred sentence and was ordered to pay a $1,000 fine.

The Muskogee Phoenix reports that Davis was suspected of setting a series of fires in the Boynton area after the fire chief grew suspicious about circumstances surrounding the blazes.
Davis reported the fires to authorities and gave the dispatcher a fake name, according to The Muskogee Phoenix.
