Former DHS employee is sentenced in Tulsa

TULSA — A former Department of Human Services employee received a three-year suspended sentence Monday for financially exploiting two vulnerable adults.

Debra Roberts, 51, pleaded guilty Oct. 5 to two felony exploitation counts in Tulsa County District Court.

Roberts had no deal with prosecutors to govern her punishment.

District Judge Kurt Glassco found her guilty on Monday, giving Roberts a felony conviction in both cases.
