Former Edmond Santa Fe star Randy Ponder's path from heart-broken walk-on to contributor on a unbeaten Missouri team turned on a heart-to-heart talk with his mother.



Ponder turned down scholarships from Tulsa, New Mexico, Air Force and Houston believing he would earn a scholarship at Missouri.
