— A judge sentenced former McLoud schoolteacher Kimberly Crain to 45 years in prison Friday for sex crimes against children.

Crain, who cried as she was sentenced, will need to serve at least 37 years before becoming eligible for parole.

She had pleaded guilty to 20 sex crimes.

In the same case, former Oklahoma Baptist University professor Gary Doby pleaded guilty to sexually exploiting at least nine schoolgirls. He was sentenced to life in prison.

One of the girls testified that he knew each of them by name.

“One time he made me stick the camera in my mouth,” one of the girls said.

The same girl said that Crain would ask her to do sexually suggestive dance moves, one called the “Happy Hobo Dance,” and described an instance when the former teacher gave her some direction before a photo session.
