It looks like former Millwood football standout Josh Turner is getting another chance with the University of Texas.

Turner reportedly met with Longhorns coach Charlie Strong on Tuesday night and was placed back on the team with "severe restrictions," according to 247sports.com. The Dallas Morning News says that Turner's problems reportedly started in the summer with a verbal altercation with Longhorns strength coach Pat Moorer.

Last Friday, Strong dismissed numerous players from the team, including Turner for a "violation of team rules." But 247sports.com said that Strong allowed Turner to appeal the decision of his dismissal.

Turner's return should provide a big boost of experience to the Texas secondary. The senior has played in 37 games since joining the Longhorns in 2011.
