Former NFL running back Derrick Ward let loose on Twitter after the Philadelphia Eagles released DeSean Jackson on Friday.

Jackson was a Pro Bowl player for the Eagles last season, but the Eagles let him go Friday with little explanation.

"After careful consideration during this off-season, the Philadelphia Eagles have decided to part ways with DeSean Jackson. The team informed him of his release today," team team said via press release on their website.

Ward had far more to say in a 20-tweet rant Friday that touched on ESPN not knowing what they're talking about to the Eagles jumping the gun because of Jackson's reported gang connections.
