A former Tulsa police officer charged with soliciting prostitution near a local church last year pleaded no contest in Tulsa County District Court on Monday afternoon.
Then-Cpl. David Turner, 52, of Broken Arrow will appear back in court April 7, during which time a judge will determine his sentence, Tulsa County community outreach director Susan Witt said.
“The recommendation is two years pursuant to a pre-sentence investigation,” she said. “But it depends on what the investigation recommends.”
