Former OSU forward Kamari Murphy to visit Miami, South Florida Published: May 19, 2014

Transferring Oklahoma State forward Kamari Murphy will visit Miami and South Florida in early June, New York Lightning coach Dana Dingle told

According to Dingle, Murphy will visit USF June 1 and Miami on June 8.

Murphy, who is from Brooklyn, N.Y., was thought to have been eying a school closer to home following his transfer announcement, but Dingle said two weeks ago that Murphy was "just open right now, just seeing who's interested."

Murphy averaged 6.1 points and 6.3 rebounds last season for the Cowboys.
