We caught up with Cleveland Browns quarterback Brandon Weeden after the former Oklahoma State star landed a monster tarpon during a recent fishing trip north of Cancun.

You can read that story here and you can read more on it in Sunday's edition of The Oklahoman.

After talking about his trophy catch, Weeden was kind enough to talk a little football.

Here's a look at what he had to say.

Q: What was your reaction to the firing of Browns' head coach Rob Chudzinski?

A: I was shocked. I didn't see it coming to be honest with you. I don't think many guys in the locker room knew it was coming. There were rumors that he was going to be fired, but none of us believed it until it actually happened. It definitely caught me off guard.”

The way this business is you can never get too comfortable in one place. It just depends on what their game plan is. I can't control it. The ball is kind of out of my court.
