Former Oklahoma State quarterback Zac Robinson was released by the Cincinnati Bengals on Friday.

Bengals.com listed the reason for Robinson's release as a failed physical.

Robinson spent 2011 and 2012 on the Bengals' roster as the No. 3 quarterback and spent 2013 on the reserve/physically unable to perform list due to an offseason elbow injury.

"Being injured the past year has been frustrating..with surgery in sight hoping to get back as soon as I can and for another opportunity!," Robinson said via his Twitter account on Friday. See this story on twitter.com
