Former OSU tight end Pettigrew gets new deal with Detroit

The Detroit Lions have retained their tight end, agreeing to a four-year deal with Brandon Pettigrew, the team announced Friday.

The former Oklahoma State tight end has reportedly agreed to a deal worth $16 million, including $8 million guaranteed. Pettigrew was the No. 20 overall pick in the 2009 draft.
